Julie is a very knowledgeable & experienced Stoma care nurse. She is more than happy to listen to the difficulties you are experiencing, then give you options to resolve the problems & then she lets you try out different product samples to see which works best for you as an individual. Both of my home visits have been during Covid Lockdown & despite this she has come out to my home, wearing full PPE to help me with a severe skin breakdown which is very painful & needed treating quickly. She then looked at the products I was using, offered different product suggestions to help prevent this happening again and left with samples to try. Julie is friendly, warm and a very welcome visitor I cannot praise her enough A true professional going the extra mile.

Julie has helped me loads. She first visited me in may and took me through the steps of irrigation. She was sensitive and understanding. It was almost like I didn’t have to tell her what my symptoms were, she just knew! She asked me so many questions and was never surprised by my answers. I was at ease all the time and all embarrassment disappeared yet I never felt that my privacy or dignity was taken away. Julie has followed my progress closely since then and I know I can contact her if I need her. She has been an absolute rock. I remember the feelings I had before julie came to help. I felt that I was a freak. That I could never have a boyfriend. Well Julie made me realise that normal doesnt exist but individuals do. She is definitely an individual and I am working on it. My confidence has grown hugely. Thank you so much for your help. I know you are there for me.
